Well hi everyone, the subject of this blog is coping with the hot weather with locks on our heads!!

It's real hot over here in sunny England at the moment and i could do with a few tips on keeping cool with "a head full a dreads"

I use a Tea Tree Oil spritz sprayed directly on my scalp, it really helps cool that head down!

When it is hot it can sometimes be tempting to shave the lot off, how do you all cope with "dread apathy"?

Any suggestions?

Top Tip Number 4

4. After the first 6 to 8 months you will have a few (lots if you didn’t band your roots) loose hairs. The best way to sort this out is to crotchet them into the nearest dread. You can also crotchet two small dreads together.

Anyway i have just waxed my locks as i haven't done it for a while, so i'd thought i'd do an experiment.

In my experience it takes a while for my locks to settle after waxing so i'm gonna do a before waxing, after waxing and 1 week after waxing photos.

So then here they are before waxing:

This is my locks straight after, looking waxy:-/

Here they are 3 days later and looking good:)

I'll see you all soon.

Jim
